My business started with a single opportunity. While homeless in Arizona, a property manager asked me to clear an apartment for cash. I did it, and soon he had me helping his friends with their cleanups too. Back in Omaha, I kept that hustle going by collecting beer bottles for the nickel deposit. In three months, I made enough to buy an old beater pickup. I ran a Craigslist ad and have been growing ever since.
We started as A1 Junk Removal of Omaha, focused on hauling away junk for homes and businesses across the metro. As our customers kept asking us to handle tree work too, we expanded into tree trimming, removal, and stump grinding. Now we're A1 Junk Removal and Tree Service — two services, one call.
From that one beater, I've built a professional fleet with three nice pickups, two dump trailers, and all the right machinery. Today, me and my team—including Nick, Winston, Larry, Randall, Sean, and my dog Baby Girl—take pride in honest work at a fair price. I've gone from dumpster diving to bottle runs to handling full estate cleanouts, appliance removal, and yard waste hauling. I've also expanded into tree service and landscaping, including tree removal and full yard cleanups.
